Abstract:

Photographs document the 1920-1921 progress of construction of hulls no. 16 and 17 of two unidentified ships, presumably at Union Construction Company's Oakland shipyard. Also includes a draft of an unsigned 1924 contract between Union Construction Co. and British Columbia miner Charles Arthur Banks for the construction of a placer gold dredging machine.
